It's finally about to get busy up in here.

About time to start dusting off this thread, as I near a completion point on the other resident in my garage... shoulder is all better, trying to take it easy, but at the same time push forward....

The pile of sheet metal is huge...

The stacks of faux woodgrain formica covered cabinets have been sorted by quality and patterning has begun (what else can you do in the early morning, no angle grinders allowed)...

The sweet smells of sawdust and wood glue linger in the air...

The last minute shopping searches are winding down...

When I say that I had nearly everything to completely re-build this thing, I wasn't kidding, and now those missing bits are almost nothing.

In the midst of the "required" on-line ad watching, however, I did stumble across these little jewels....  While the paper envelope is pretty rough, the vinyl owner manual envelope should clean up rather nicely...   8)

A guy in Johnson City had them, not far from Kingsport, where the bus had been living for some time.  Unfortunately, it appears reading the faded ink, that the color was "Bright Orange" on the vehicle in question... pretty sure they aren't originally from my bus....

And, yes, default settings... I do know that nothing has been posted on this topic thread in more than 120 days...  sorry 'bout that...

Haha... Yeah, Nick... It's been a long time since I have actually fixed anything on her... mostly just making her work half to death.  This is long overdue!

Wow... almost one year to the day since I made a suggestion that I was about to start working on this pile...

Brace yourselves, citizens... it looks like it may actually happen now.  I have finally cleared the way in the garage, and the buggy pan will soon be at my work, leaving a big hole where my bus will fit quite nicely.  Amanda is tired of stepping over holes in the floor when she gets in.  Looks like I might actually try to remedy that now... only a year later than I had hoped...

Photographic evidence of this promised time and again action soon to follow...

Buggy needs a build thread!

It has one already, as of this morning... and there are new floor pans, a frame head and front brace along with a bucket of brake lines and components all coming from the opposite side of the country as we speak...

It's about to make it's way to the shop for the frame shortening and reconditioning.  The bus is gonna be torn down in the garage at home...

I am going from not doing any builds to two at once... What could possibly go wrong??? lol.
