Had you thought any more about the 2.0 gas out of the mark 4 jetta,  sal knows a guy that can write the immobilizer out of the ECM,  I would not be to bad to wire up,  other wise you would need the cluster and ignition switch to be able to swap it,  unless it is a 99, they did not have the immobilizer

Too tired to elaborate tonight, but I have a new ride.
Driving an open top car 50 mph in 45*F air at night for 25 miles is a COLD ride.
Photos tommorow, but I am stoked.

The cabrio has heat,  Riley will even ride with the top down and a motorcycle helmet on the way to school

OK, I was going to wait till tomorrow, but I now own Albert.

Yep, that's right.

David has passed the torch to me.
(Actually I had to pry it out of his hands and run...)

We worked a trade and he and I are happy, well at least I know I am and think he is... ;D

I'll get some photos up, but man that was a cold ride home.

Yesterday:

Drove to the end of the road and back!

To Do List:
Seatbelts.
Rear bench seat.
Cover and Sides.
HEAT plumbed into Tub.
Shorter seats - window frame is at eyebrow level on me lol.
May do a body Lift using composite timbers.... for height problems.

I snapped the other 6V battery cover onto this battery as well, fit like a charm.

KC knows the drill. If not, there will be a "Predator Drone" loaded with Dasher parts over his compound in a instant. He will have just enough time to get that precious cargo(covey of Chicklets) out of Albert. ;D
