I remember an old Rodney Dangerfield bit where he was going on at great length about what a pile of crap his car was.

"Just once I'd like to go somewhere without somebody honking and pointing at one of my tires"

"Every Saturday afternoon I like to take my family out for a push"

Then he delivered his one-liner....

"Yeah the other day I bought the perfect second car... a tow truck..."

Bus is looking Great, Casey.  Makes me miss the good old days when I worked at the battlefield.  I loved that job.   ;D

Naw, nuttin' like dat....   ;)

I was an employee with Eastern National and did interpretive soldier talks during the Summers... and, in my summer between my Junior and Senior years of college, I was in the Green and Gray (Smokey Bear Hat and all) as an interpretive Park Ranger.

Everybody that I knew got a kick out of calling me Ranger Rick all summer.   :D

^^^^ Are you kidding me???

Even I am not that dumb.  I loved it, and would be there today, but the position was just a seasonal appointment for the summer months....

I would sell my tools and go to work in a ranger uniform any day of the week.

Did you ever think about going to Smoky Bear Ranger school Dumb Butt ?  I almost did. Boy did I screw up.  I was really dumb.   My first Cuz was head ranger in the Grand Tetons for 20 years. He retired there and still lives in the park.  Damn!!

Yeah.  I'd give up my chosen profession for that sort of opportunity in a heartbeat.   :)
