Carpet is in pretty good shape, I don't think I will mess with that. Thanks!
Floormats?
I still think that you should paint the valve covers, a few cans of high temp engine paint and some masking tape and you would be golden...

Those would get dirty fast! I like my cheap rubber floor mats. When I wash the car I just take them out and hose them down too. Let them dry and put them back in.

Even after doing headliner, pillars, rear parcel and speaker trays, and shift boot, I still have a good amount of plaid material left over. I should probably find a use for it...

Took it to SoWo and back, had a great trip. Unfortunately my clutch cable broke after I got there. Perry brought me one up Friday and we replaced it, however my clutch was slipping pretty bad, which made the trip through the mountains no fun at all. Finally last night my clutch gave up, so it awaits a replacement. Still had a really fun trip and my Rabbit got all kinds of thumbs up and comments.
