New alternator is on and working like a champ. Got some more work done this weekend too. Steering wheel has been replaced, and we scraped off my awful window tint.

Also since it was a nice weekend, my buddy Nick and I cleaned up our Rabbits and took them out for a little photo shoot. While both cars are '82 LS models, as you can see they are about as different as can be. Nick's is about as low as can possibly go where mine is actually lifted with spring spacers in the rear. His engine is a swapped 2.0 ABA where mine is the original 1.6 diesel. As the interiors go they are both the same now but that will probably be changing soon too. For now enjoy the pics!

NO  NO, You are very wrong.  Ovomit says same "door Relationship" is OK now. Maybe they will adopt a cute little Polo. One should have a Converter. Ain't no telling what might happen then :o :o

Got the headliner in today. Man that was a lot of work. My friend Nick (not Bignick) helped me put it in cause I've never done interior stuff before really. If you saw the board we had to work with, well actually I'll just show it to you...

You can see it wasn't in the best of shape. We decided to do a "sunroof delete", at least from the bottom so that required fiberglassing in some extra cardboard where the sunroof went.

Finally, we got the fabric on it.

Over the years, the board had actually shrunk (almost an inch!) so the only way it would stay in now is with some screws. Overall though, it turned out fantastic and I'm really happy with it.

I don't have a decent shot of it yet, but here's one I took. It was late when we finally got it in place.

Still need to go back and work on the pillars and shift boot, but it's coming together for sure.

Does your sunroof work?  Guess it doesn't matter now.  What type of adhesive did you use,  the headliner one my wagon is sagging and I would like to replace it or fix it,   Someone put an after market sunroof in it,  almost a deal breaker but I really wanted a wagon and like reflex silver a lot

I never opened the sunroof, it doesn't leak and I intended to keep it that way. Since I never use it I don't mind patching over it. For the glue, we used Loctite spray adhesive professional performance. It's listed as 300 heavy adhesion. You can get it at Lowe's and it made the fabric stick REALLY well to the board.
