Got the motor in today after replacing the engine bay seal,  had to remove the exhaust to get it in,  then once the exhaust was reinstalled realized its not going to work,  let the other exhaust go with the motor that was in it.  Would like to trade for a decent quiet exhaust that will fit the ghia

I have the 4 tip exhaust and an extra stock beetle muffler. The beetle muffler has had the flange on one side broken and rewelded but it looks like its solid.

I have a stock Kadron Beetle exhaust that has been oven painted.
Was on my ghia when I took it off for the Stinger.
Let one of us know.

working in rebadging the ghia,  the three holes for the Volkswagen emblem were easy,  just punched out the bondo,  now to find the one for the script badge,  thanks to Lamar finally have one,  in my opinion the coolest vw badge,  also have the front badge on the way from eBay

I have an older bus "volkswagen" script that I was contemplating putting on, but in the end I just went with the KG badge on the back (off the pink car), and the VW badge on the front (off the pink car)...
Our cars are almost the exact same color...

Yep.
It has a rubber seal with a raised ege around.
You could just cut an inner tube and use that.

Thought I'd have it going by now but wife graduated and Mother's Day in the same weekend slowed progress,  out of town this week,  itching to drive this thing

Ghia needs a bunch of stuff but for some reason I'm looking for the clips that hold the emblems on,  probably going to have to order them
