Yep, it's a type 34 . . . a Ghia designed body on a type 3 chassis.  From the rear, they look very Corvair-ish.  Pretty cool car, but like ASBug said, they can get expensive.  They are pretty rare around here as they were never sold in the states.

DO IT!. You can weld.
The body work will be about like a regular Ghia, all welded, no bolt on stuff.
Parts are expensive, but there was a guy in ATL that had 3 of them for like $3500 over the winter and had A LOT of parts.
I guess it sold.

Went and looked at it, cracked windshield poor body work and missing hoOd,  I passed,  last thing I need is another headache in the driveway
