FOR SALE: Fiberglass dune buggy project

« on: November 02, 2011, 02:22:58 PM »
I have for sale a dune buggy on a shortened rolling 1970 rolling Chassis.  All that is there is the body and of course chassis less running gear.  This is perfect for one who who like to build and personalize your own buggy at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a body and locating a chassis and then having it shortened and fabricating the pans.

the pans are 10 guage steel and the outer frame is 1X2 steel tubing and is 16 guage steel.

NO interior, windshield, Headlights, wiring harness.

Cutouts for tail lights are 1st gen Mustang buckets.

$750.00 Bring a std beetle towbar or trailer and load her up.  Car is located in Rock Springs GA 30 minutes south of Chattanooga Tenn..  I am Very Motivated to sell.

I started an Allison Buggy fund the day he put it up for sale.  My problem is when it gets up over a couple of hundred bucks, I see something I can't live without . . . like a junk 3 wheel Harley Davidson golf cart or a Beetle Kiddie Car.  If I had actually "saved" all the money I've "saved" I could buy Albert . . . and I wouldn't have near as much JUNK stored at my cabin.   ::)  Remind me that I need to have a long talk with myself about this someday.  Gott'a run.  Craigslist is calling.   ;D

If you are talking about Albert, No.  Matter of fact I might raise the price . I even thought about parting it out.

OK David, not every thing is about you.... Self -centered little.....
 ;D
AFAIK Make him an offer.
I was offered a reasonable price for it but am just not interested in an automobile I cannot even consider driving from Nov. - Feb.
You cannot make the pan for what he wants for the whole thing.
