Not a bad looking Dasher there!
But it is still a Dasher. Even diesel engines in a Dasher didn't last long. Tune-up spec's were different and they "hammer'd" themselves to a early death just trying to get out of their on way. I believe a 25 hp Bug with two burned valves would out run it . Its really to bad because the Dasher was very nice driving car when things were right which was very seldom . My brand new '76 Dasher(gasser) drove great for its life time ,about 12,000-15,000 miles.

I'll try to find the title, but it's not going to do you much good IF I can find it.  Since it was from out of state, the tag office wouldn't accept it until I got it notarized . . . I had already filled it out with my name, adress, and the odometer reading.  Because of it's age, they would give me a tag and register it, but if they did, they said I wouldn't be able to transfer the title into my name at a later date.  I didn't have anything else to drive at the time, so I went ahead and got the tag.

I know where most of the parts are and I'll start hunting the rest.  I'll see you in S-D around 9.

I thought we already had this planned! Nick was gonna buy it, then sell it to me, but I was gonna keep it at his house.

I'll cut it into three pieces and let Nick keep one piece at his place, KC could keep another piece of it, and Russ could keep the third piece.  That way none of you would have to deal with an extra car in the yard, it would just be parts.  Someday, maybe y'all could get together and practice your welding skills . . .

Seriously, though . . . it needs to be saved from the crusher.  I've done my part.   The only reason Joy isn't giving me grief about it is because she hasn't been to the cabin in about three months.  And I think she's avoiding going to the cabin because the Dasher is sitting out there . . .

Yeah, it's old, BUT, it's low mileage!  I bought from the second own through Rick.  It had something like 24,000 miles on it when she bought it in 1982 and it had 57,000 on it when I bought it in 2006.  I think I ran it up to about 85,000 before the head gasket gave up the ghost.
