I really think Nick should be the new owner.  This would test his mechanical prowess. It might be fun to watch ;D ;D

If I antique tag it, I can't drive it all the time!!!

I don't think you'll actually get hassled for driving it anywhere on an antique tag.

So, Nick . . . do you want it?  If you get it back on the road and don't like it, I might even buy it back from you!   ;D  I really enjoyed it.

$300 includes delivery . . . but it might have a couple of mini-ball holes in it when I get there . . . I can't come that close to David's house without at least driving by!   ;D  Don't like my price?  Name yours.  The worst I can say is yes.   8)  On top of needing to get rid of a bunch of junk, I need to round up some cash.  Looks like I will be paying for a wedding in the near future.   ::)

I might have to do it... I don't really need another project...BUT I like a good project.

My only concern would be how quickly I could move it when i need to... I'm not sure how kindly everyone would take to another car sitting around my yard! And I'm pretty sure that Megan wouldn't ride in it...

I'm not sure megan is going to go for a dasher...

but I do have the type IV motor out of Penelope that is just taking up space... Perhaps a motor swap is in order!

Yeah, I was pretty sure Joy wouldn't ride in it when I got it.  But, I needed a cheap car that was easy on gas and this one just showed up and followed me home one day.  After I got the heat working in it, Joy not only rode in it, at one point she drove it for several weeks.   ;)

Megan axed the idea. I don't think there is any winning this one right now. I would love to... but I probably can't consider anything until after the first of year. Besides all of that, my cousin called and has a good lead on a '69 beetle down in Louisiana that he said someone wants to get rid of for scrap prices (~$300!) Supposed to be complete but needing tinkering with. They are going to check it out this week and get back to me. I might be up poop creek, in which case...when in poop creek, buy a Dasher to keep your (second) '69 beetle company!

Oh yeah! back in the running!
Ha, I said running in regards to a Dasher....
LOL.
So Zen, when you got the title - did you fill it out or was it left blank and signed by the little old lady? If it is blank I can get it registered in my name.
I'm thinking some adjustable struts and lowered rear running on my 13" Porsche phone dial knock-offs I have still....
Maybe a smelly Cat custom aluminum spoiler and wing kit...
Hummmm.

No, it's not blank.  I filled in my name and address as the buyer.  I've done it lots of times in the past without an issue, but I was told that since it was an out of state title, it had to be notarized.  And, I've searched high and low for the title and can't seem to locate it.

PRICE DROP -- $250 Cash where it sits.  All the parts Dasher parts I have that I can locate go with it.

If you really want it gone... and the club christmas party is next week... and there is a dirty santa/chinese auction... you could wrap it up as a $10 gift  ;D ;D

I hope David gets it!
