1967 Factory Sunroof Beetle SOLD!!

« on: September 13, 2009, 04:33:47 PM »
Up for sale is my 1967 Beetle with factory metal sunroof. Great running and driving car. Driven on nice days. Stock single port motor runs great with CB rotary fuel pump and older Bugpack dual quiet pack exhaust system (fits better than newer units). 2" narrowed beam with all new ball joints, tie rods, shocks and CB 2.5" dropped spindles. New axle seals, axle boots, and shifter bushings. Older Scat seats with scat tracks that slide on original mounts. Kenwood tape deck with speakers in the rear parcel shelf. This is a unrestored car (so there are cosmetic flaws since everything is 30+ years old) but is a great driver and would be great to restore. Brakes rebuilt around 2yrs ago including new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, rubber hoses, and shoes. Original 67 carb has been rebushed and rebuilt. Minimal rust, mostly in rear floor pan (due to shag carpet that used to be in car). Clean and solid car. Sunroof needs new cables. Took me a while to find a sunroof 67, but would like an Oval or ragstop so this one is up for sale. Call or email with questions. Asking $3300 Just installed some factory 66-67 powdercoated rims with new BF Goodrich 155 tires up front and Nexan 165 tires out back. I have some factory hub caps, but like the look without.  Car is located in Sparta TN. 931-808-6598 ask for Matt.  The car will be brought to the Sevierville TN show in October.

A little easy off and those purole stripes will come right off. I remember seeing this car before and everyone has always had trouble selling it because of those stripes. Nice lil 67 ditch the stripes it'll sell.
