I'm in. I will have to check with my contacts at the business we met up at last year after the parade. There's been a messy split since then....

Last year we were invited to have a cruise-in at Merchant's on Main immediately after the parade. I have talked to the owner and she asked if we wanted to have the cruise-in again this year. I told her that we probably would probably be interested but I would check with everyone. Last year they provided BBQ and the cook was a former marine, so it was a free meal with a donation to toys for tots. I don't know what the food situation would be like this year, but we can discuss it. Merchant's on Main is a boutique shop that has a wide variety of things. They are located at 607 Main St.

Is this after parade party/ cruise-in good for everyone else?

I think we should, but I'll be in Texas that weekend so I won't actually be there.

I talked to Merchant's On Main regarding the after parade cruise-in. They are planning on having the GiGi's cupcake trailer serving cupcakes in their parking lot after the parade. We will have space in their parking lot to park our vehicles like last year and walk up and down Main st. They will have a Chili Cook Off sponsored by Habitat near OCI Furniture and the firehall (near the old Lockhart's).

On a side note. There is a lady who is claiming to be my mother who will be riding on a float with a bunch of other crazy ladies. I just wanted to go ahead and say that this lady is NOT my mother and if you all see me ignoring her, its because I am aware of the situation.

Kate with the "Art Cars" a group that will also be in the parade invited volksfolks people to park with them after the parade.  She said there would be plenty of room.   I am not sure where they will be  which I will try to find out - some where close by

Should we alert the authorities?

Maybe one year I won't have to go to Texas during the same weekend! I wanna do this event again.

I'm afraid there's nothing they can do about it... they had everything figured out about their entire parade event. Except the float. Did I mention I got a 20ft trailer this past weekend?  ;D ;D
