I got off work early today (about 1pm) and had plans to get Homer the Super Bus ready for the trip tomorrow.  I stopped by the tag office and got my new stickers and put them on Homer when I got home.  After I drink a couple of gallons of water to replace the fluids I lost putting the stickers on the tag, I'll go back out and try changing the oil and adjusting the valves.  Then I gott'a flush the 14 month old gas out of the tank . . .

Hummm . . . I might not be driving Homer to Birmingham tomorrow.  It's either too danged HOT or I'm too danged FAT!  Or both.   ;D

I've got a spare seat in the big van (hunting body parts again). It has a/c.

Hope y'all didn't wait around on me this morning.  I got up early and had a splitting headache . . . took some asprin and laid back down, intending to get back up after the asprin kicked in.  They never did.  I woke up about 1:30 took some more drugs moved to the recliner and went back to sleep.

Sorry you couldn't make it, Zen. We had a good cruise down there with me, William and his wife, Lamar and Cindy, and Anthony. Nick showed up later after having some overheating issues with his bug.

The show wasn't huge but it wasn't bad considering it was basically cancelled and picked up by some former members. The swap meet was decent and we got to socialize with some friends.

I took a few pictures while I was there: http://www.volksfolks.org/gallery/events/birmingham-bug-blast-2011/
