Bavarian Run

The 2011 Bavarian Run will be held on September 24th. Meet at the VW plant in Chattanooga at 8:00 AM and depart for Helen, GA with a brief stop at the Olympic Rec. center on Highway 64. Cookout will be held in Helen at 1:00 PM. Dash plaques and discounts available to all participants.

This is coming up soon and if you plan on staying overnight, you should make reservations now. The host motel is the Hofbrau, I think if you mention the Bavarian Run you will get a discount. (706) 878-2184

We are gonna stay at the Alpine Village Inn, it's where we stay every year for this and SoWo. Their number is (706) 878-2296.

If you haven't made a reservation yet, call soon. We just made ours with the Alpine Village Inn. The rate is $99 a night. The Hoffbrau is $120 a night.

This weekend is some big event at the plant. Lots of VW executives and VIPs. We are planning to meet right off the exit on Volkswagen Drive close to the new bridge construction so that we will be out of the way. Departure is still set for 8AM.

Are you talking about right off the interstate? If I'm coming from Bonny Oaks Drive, do I even go into the Ind. Park, or just come from Bonny Oaks and Lee Hwy and take off from 75?
