We must have the parade application in by November 30th, so please reply if you want to attend so we can get a head count. Like last year, let's have a strong VW presence in the parade!

Just got an email from Roger saying we need to get the application in by the end of this week, so we will try and get a head count tonight at the club meeting.

The full schedule of events is now online at http://mainx24.com/

The Southside Parade is sponsored by EPB this year.

At the meeting, about 9 people raised their hand. I'm going to put us down for about 12 total on our application.

We would really like to come, but our HS football team won't quit winning, so we may be traveling to the state playoff's.  ;D

This would be our first event.  We haven't owned ours long enough to fix it up a lot.  I'd say she looks awful cute from 20 paces.  Will this do, or should we catch the next one?

Just got an email about the parade.

Quote
This years participation in the Mainx24 is larger than last years.  It's going to be a great time.
Most of you have sent in your registration forms and I am looking forward to all of you who have sent it in to be a part of this years parade.

We need to start promptly at 11am this year.   We have a special event immedialtely following the parade which will be on the parade route.  We also have a larger parade this  year.  We will have facilities open at the staging area including Chenoweth. Halligan Studios  and the Well ( both on the 1800 block of Rossville Ave. (not Rossville Blvd.) where you can get a hot drink or find a restroom or just get out of the cold.  If its cold. So try to arrive here by 10am (unless you are one of our dignitaries) so we can find you your proper place in the parade.

Check in will be in Chenoweth . Halligan Studios.  We will have bike riding volunteers who will direct you to your parade spot.

It should be great fun.  Call or email with any additional questions.

Shannon, is that you with Myrtle?  Don't worry about fixing her up...a good looker at 20 paces might be one of the best in the crowd!  Seriously, everyone is welcome, no matter the condition.   ;D

Heck no. Just leave the leaves on her and get a can of snow flocking and spray her all over. The kids will think she is a rolling snow machine!

I looked under one pile of leaves and found the lawn mower.  Maybe Stupie is in the pile by the bushes,  I need to install a car alarm so I can make Stupie Beep.  First job...  fix the  horn.  SC
