I upgraded the Gallery software to the latest version, 1.4.4-pl2. Just a few bug fixes in it, but among those it fixed one that prevented mod_rewrite from being implemented correctly. What this means is that instead of a really long URL like this:

http://gallery.volksfolks.org/view_photo.php?set_albumName=hcbf1&id=2003_0724_092024AA

you can have a much shorter one, like this:

http://gallery.volksfolks.org/hcbf1/2003_0724_092024AA

A minor thing, but to me it made a big difference.

I had seen those comments under the picture in the gallery and kind'a figured out the gist of the second one (for those of you that don't know, they were posted in Spainish), but that first one makes about as much sense translated as it does when I read it in Spainish!   :lol:

I guess maybe he's trying to say he has an '85 Mexican Beetle?  :?  Or maybe he has 85 Final Edition Beetles?  :?  Or maybe he don't know what he's trying to say either!   :tard:
