This is a few days late, and I don't have a picture, but Saturday I went up Red Bank to give Rick a deposit on replacing the head gasket on our TDI Passat.  He showed me around his new shop (super cool place by the way) and we talked about a lot of things.  One thing that came up was Russ's recent string of bad luck with vehicles.  I left his shop, got on 27 heading south about the time I got on I-24 I saw a green Rabbit in the rear view . . . it came past me and yep, it was Russ!  I'm glad to see he got at least one of his vehicles back on the road, and It seemed to be running great!  Rick called today.  Seems Russ isn't the only one that's had some bad luck lately.  I think the Passat has bit the dust . . . but that's another story.

Yep, that's me! That Rabbit has survived everything imaginable, including me pumping about 5 gallons of gasoline in the tank before I even realized what I was doing. Thanks to some help from Nick and Seth, the tank is drained and filled with diesel now and it's been running strong ever since.

This is after a mishap last month when my oil filter came off going down the highway and subsequently the engine lost all its oil and locked up. The engine is now getting a total rebuild with new heads, and a new bottom end. It's looking like I'll be back on the road with it in about a month.

I just remembered on that day I saw you too. And I took a pic! Zen, you were officially spotted!

The "Warning: I may drive like you" sticker gave you away.  8)
