I was going down Battlefield Parkway this afternoon and for a couple of miles I was running along side a New Beetle that was painted a maroon color . . . I'm not sure if this was a factory color or an aftermarket paint job, but I kept thinking to myself that I can't remember ever seening one that particular color . . . I've seen Beetles that color, but I can't remember seeing a New Beetle . . . Anyway, we stopped side by side at for a red light at Dietz Rd. and I glanced over and noticed that sitting just behind the New Beetle, over in the turn lane, was and air-cooled Beetle almost the exact same color!
