1994 volvo 940 starving for gas?

This super wagen runs and idles but you have to baby the gas pedal to accelrate.  To much pedal and it bogs or acts like not enough gas.  No cel or codes.  Am i thinkin right that it might be fuel pump.?  Weak pump?  Fuel filter?

One time today
I got mad and floored it,  it downshifted,  hauled ass like a scared rabbit,  then bogs , made a maf cel code.

I have messed with vac line found some leaks,  fixed them .  Tank was low,  added five gallons of premium just for giggles.  Seemed to run better.

Its weird that Sometimes the cel light can go on.  When you check the diagnostic. It blinks 111. Which means no code

Also check the distributor cap, they would get corroded, you could always check the fuel pressure. Fuel filters are cheap to start

Thx Travis.  I ordered a fuel filter.  Both fuel pumps are running.  Found a few vacuum leaks.  I plan to check plugs and distrib next
