I see a lot of ads on the Samba, CraigsList, ebay and Facebook Marketplace for vw's (and other vehicles) without a title and only a bill of sale. I know the obvious reason not to buy such a vehicle is because you don't know if it's stolen or not. Aside from that, can a bill of sale vehicle be titled? If so is it a long drawn out process? Would like some discussion on the pros and cons of buying a bug that only has a bill of sale.
