I anxiously await the project! Glad your shoulder is on the upswing. I've noticed mine are stinging more and more with overhead work. David would bust my balls wat that admission...

Since you've been making good weekends of going to museums and car events, will we see you are swapapaluza this weekend?

This weekend is the little lady's birthday extravaganza, but I hope to swing by for a little bit to shop around  for some little odds and ends... Maybe Saturday morning.  With any luck I will have a pile of excess stuff of my own to sell at BAP  next spring.

The forums are sure quite more than I have seen. Is every body breathing in and out ? I'm going to have to go down to the garage and do something constructive for a change I guess. ;D ;D

I've been hearing a lot of crickets chirping lately myself . . .

We need a Homer Build thread! How long has it been since it ran?  ;D

This came up in conversation today:

What do you think the Godfather would say about diesel gate?

I know he wasn't exactly in love with water cooled VWs, but he had Rebel blood running through his veins.  I think it might have prompted him to go out and buy a TDI.   8)

I miss old Dave chiming in here with his cheery disposition.
I think I will play my 8 track of John Denver and meditate for a moment...
"A part of everything is here in me..."

We have a Facebook group for club members but it isn't much more active than the forums really.

I'm still here. I've been adjusting my voltage regulator output in hopes of brightening up my good old 6 volt headlights for the dim, dark days that lie ahead this winter.
I also have to figure out why my taillights come on when I turn the ignition on.
I think I have a wire in the wrong place, but I'm not much with electrical problems.
I'm not much with brake problems or mechanical problems or...well, you can get the idea...

I've noticed that too.  I guess we're getting old and boring.  We sure could use a little of the Godfather's "pot stirring" about now . . .

We can talk about William. He won't say much of anything.

I heard he sold his bus...

First his bug, now his bus . . . and he's talking about scrapping the super cool metal dune buggy he got from me.  Then he will be totally VW-less.  :(  But, he says "I have a plan."   ???  A plan to get rid of all his Vdubs maybe . . .
