I clicked reply and the window that came up had this at the top:

Yes, I am SURE I wanted to reply.  After the topic came up in a conversation in the Wally's parking lot after our last Bug-A-Paluza planning meeting, it became apparent to me that some of our newer members have never heard of the "Help with Slow Starter" thread, much less had the experiance of reading it.  Well, we can't have that, can we?   ;D

Go to page one.  Read . . . Laugh . . . OK, stop laughing and try to breath . . . you may need to wait a day or two before you move to page two.  And hey, there's 53 pages of this stuff!  This could keep you entertained for weeks . . . or months . . . or maybe years!

It seems to me that a lot of people have just lost their sense of humor.  I remember very well when this thread started when Dr.Mayhem( Smelly-Cat) ask a question about Stupey's starter. One thing just led to another. It was a riot . I couldn't wait to see what was posted next. Both  Zen and I have to admit to having a hand in egging this along. SC took it like man. We ALL, I mean ALL laughed.  I sadly don't see that today.

Well, I wouldn't say we "ALL" laughed.  I don't think SC's neighbor saw much humor in getting sprayed with gas.  At least SC hadn't figured out how to make sparks at that point!  But other than that, yeah, we were all rolling on the floor laughing for several months, maybe over a year, as this saga unfolded.

I opened the starter up and the middle rotor thing would not come out, so I yelled "By the Powers of Mordar. Release thy rotor".. I gave it a super yank.  Ball bearings exploded out the starter and went bouncing around my drive way. The medical term  "excrement" about sums it up.  I found 9 of the little balls.  I'm going to look in the scrap bin at work for the 10th.

If you can read something like that and NOT laugh, there is something seriously wrong with you! ;D :D ;D
