Also, Matthew got his Goforms installed last weekend. Between him, me, Anthony, and Nick, all our buses are riding on new tires now!

I just wanted to update this thread. I picked up the Hankooks RA08s that Russ linked to earlier. I picked them up at $69.00 each, which was a steal! I had some Kumho Solus P205/75/15 tires on there and it was a bit wobbly. They worked, but I was never able to find the appropriate "stock" sized tire with load rated side walls. Russ's question got me looking and for being .4% off, I thought that was good enough for me.

So far they have been great and the ability to corner has drastically improved.

If anyone is looking for 15" bus tires, the Hankook 195/70R15s are the way to go.

What kind of wheels are you running?  I need to Homer some new shoes soon, but I'm running stock 14" wheels.

I have 15" wide 5s. I haven't looked at the date but they are the ones that came with it. I know that 15s were standard on some of the early buses and 16s were an very early option that are pretty rare now. I think thes switched to 14" somewhere in the 60s

I just came across this post while trying to look for reviews of the Goform G325 on a Westy. We were going to put the Hankooks on until someone mentioned the Goforms. For those of you who made the decision to try out the cheaper Goform tires, what are your thoughts? Would you recommend them or should we stick with the Hankook?

Been running the Goforms for 14 months now.
No fading, flats, or leaks...so far.
Could not be happier with them!

Well, we almost went with the Goforms, but tireseasy.com just reduced their Hankook Radials to $66.50! Anyone in the market for some new tires should snatch those up asap…within the past 3 days the price for these on their site has fluctuated up and down about $20 so I have no idea how long they'll stay at that price.

I snagged a set as well! Good eye! I was putting off ordering a set for my vanagon, but at this price, its worth going ahead and grabbing them.

They showed up today. It was a day later than they predicted but it was still pretty fast!

How are your Goforms holding up? I read somewhere that Hankook may have discontinued the RA08, next time I need new tires I may look at the G325s.
