It should be OK as long as it doesn't have too much total advance.  But, then, the only way to tell for sure is put a timing light on it.  If it's not getting hot and you don't drive too far, too fast or too hard, you'll probably be OK getting it over to Ricks place.

I'm not trying to scare you or anything, but again, just as a disclaimer, if it's advanced too far and you drive it too hard or too long, it will burn through the tops of the pistons.
